You can use the 4g63 manifold and buy a 4g94 manifold flange from road race motorsports and weld it together but there is the big if that if you don't get the weld dead on you will loosed some very valuable peices. You will also have to get a turbo manifold as the 4g63 manifold does not bolt up to our 4g94 engine block. Well really only 3 but hey its better than no crash bar and bye bye lancer. Others just won't fit or do what you want.Īfter you do that engine/tranny swap you can however put the 4g63(evo 7-9 engine) head on the 4g64 engine block. It has to be the 1999-2000 galant and it has to be a 2.4 liter engine. You can however swap your complete engine and tranny out and get the 4g64 engine in there. Such as the 4g64 which is found in US version of Galant. The 4g63 engine only can mate up with other 4g6 series engines. I forget who you can call to get that head here to you. ![]() You would have to import that head from somewhere. that have the 4g93 dohc head on their 4g94 engine. So You could get a 4g92, 4g93, and 4g93 dohc head and mate it with our 4g94 engine. You can only get the heads from another g9 series. Sidetracking a bit.4b11, 4b11t, and 4b12 are all different engines although in the same family. The only thing that can be cross converted is other engines of the same family.
